New Team, Same Dream!

Hey everyone!

I'm Lexine, this semester's project manager for Team Thailand! I'm really excited to get the blog up and running once again so that you can all stay up to date on our project.

So much has happened since our last blog post. The 2019-2020 Team did an amazing job of getting this project up and running. Not only did they raise the majority of the funds for the project, but they also developed a great design for the kitchen! Although they were unable to implement the project this past Summer, they worked tirelessly to ensure that this project would be completed for the Summer of 2021.

This is where we, the 2020-2021 Team, come in! We have picked up right where they left off and are making great progress so far. As suggested by the 2019-2020 Team, we are making some improvements to the electrical and plumbing systems of the kitchen as well as exploring some other changes that we are hoping to reveal soon. We are also currently preparing our very first presentation to the Student Learning Advisory Board (SLAB), which is coming up in less than two weeks (wish us luck!).

We are all grateful for the opportunity to continue this project. It would mean so much to each of us if you donated to our HornRaiser, which just launched today! All funds from this campaign will be combined with the funds raised by last year's team and will all go directly towards the cost of the project!
