As the semester draws to a close and 3 of our team members graduate, the PUC Thailand Team is just now getting started with perhaps the most exciting part of our time together yet: IMPLEMENTATION! We are excited to announce that construction has begun on the Thailand Kitchen project and there has already been quite a bit of progress. So far, our contractor has begun laying the foundations, installing the precast concrete columns, and building the roof structure. It has been amazing seeing our plans come to life and to see that the Bannonggo School is indeed going to have a kitchen of their very own! As construction continues, our team is still hard at work adding last minute details to electrical plans, creating virtual content, and beginning our Final Report for the summer implementation course. We have each created a 5 minute “Day in the Life” Introduction which will be played for the students on their first day of school. Our hope and goal is that the students will be able to get to know us and us get to know them, even in the face of the pandemic. Stay tuned for more updates with construction and implementation!
